Striped Bass Counts by Boat - April 30, 2020
In the big bend area our local anglers Chris Vasquez and his son Landen were out fishing with our local martial arts instructor Ben Aleman (in the middle) (Fort Mohave Martial Arts). They were fishing on Bens boat using anchovies to land these 3 stripers the larger one at 3.36 pounds and 21 and 1/8 inches. since Bens studio has been shut down due to the pandemic they decided to take advantage of the time off and go fishing and this is a nice catch.

Gordon Fiske was out fishing with his grandson Colton Frye and landed some stripers and came in to share their catch the 2 larger ones weighed in at 4.54 pounds each and were the same length also at 23 and 3/4 inches. I have to say I do see a lot of fish being close in size but these 2 were right on the same size in both weight and length. They were using anchovies and were down river a ways below the needles bridge.
