J. Sisneros of Brentwood caught this six-pound striped bass with anchovies.

M. Garcia of San Jose caught this seven-and-a-half pound striper while he was fishing with anchovies.

Our local anglers Ben Aleman and fishing buddy Chris Vasquez were fishing from Ben’s boat in the lower Big Bend area and landed a few stripers. These are a great size and filet out easy.

Our local angler Bill Trude (works for the city and it was his day off) landed a nice 17.30 pound stripped bass at 38 and 1/2 inches.  Bill was fishing from his boat using anchovies near the nature center.

Our shore anglers are having great luck Mike Kinder was in the upper big bend area and landed a nice stringer of stripers Mike  was using anchovies .
